using all of your wood

I was cutting some bowl blanks and saw that the edges of the circle I cut out were usable for
other projects and that makes sense to use as much of our resources in the shop so there is not as much waste. It also caused me to think that if we all used our resources that God has given us how much more could we do for Him as He gives the strength to go day by day. In a few days  will post pictures of some pens that I will turn from the blanks I cut from the edges of the bowls I cut, keep looking for them. thanks for looking at my site.

As I think about the art of refinishing it causes me to reflect on our own lives as we strive to do our best but mess up and then we have to go to the father and He forgives us and makes us new again.

It is my belief that if you have a dining table, or another piece of furniture that has been in your family for many years and there are many good memories tied to it  and it is getting dull it can be brought back to life and the good times can be passed down to other members of the family thus keeping family history going on for many generations to come
so please consider what a refinish job will do for it.
